On the site of the former brewery of the  Bohemian Brewery House between Landsberger avenue and Pufendorfstraße in Berlin Friedrichshain, a development in four construction phases is being built on an area of 35,000 sqm in the monument ensemble of the Old Malt House, the Brewery Warehouse and the Spanish Steps, including the extensive vaults of the former ice cellars. Against the background of the historical urban development, the buildings were to fit seamlessly into the overall urban structure. Thus, they clearly refer to the architectural tradition of Friedrichhain - and yet set clear standards with their powerful, concise structure. In its entirety and size, the complex corresponds ideally with the "Neue Mälzerei" and reinterprets the apparent contrast between modern and historic in a relaxed manner. There will be 125 apartments with sizes ranging from 1 to 4 rooms and 35 m²-122 m².

Along a geological terrain jump, a height difference of 12m is overcome within the overall site. This poses special challenges for the construction logistics in the chronological sequence of the individual construction phases.
