New construction of apartment buildings in Potsdam.

In the northern suburb of Berlin near the Heiligen See (Holy Lake), an ensemble of two multi-family houses with a common underground parking garage and an outbuilding in the rear garden area is being built. The property was planned by the architectural firm Peter + Paschen from Hamburg on behalf of a private developer. The construction management was carried out by Bicon Generalplanung Berlin - in close coordination with the city of Potsdam and the preservation of historical monuments, we developed the appropriate solutions here.
The planning groups the two free-standing apartment buildings around a common access courtyard, with the houses forming an overall ensemble in mirror symmetry. The houses are oriented along Ludwig-Richter-Strasse at the building boundary, the development of the courtyard is flanked on both sides by the protruding corner loggias on the street side, while the stacked storey clearly recedes from the street alignment of the adjacent houses.
High-quality materials make up the typical character of the residential ensemble: white-grey clinker brick, wooden windows, terrace coverings made of hardwood and solid wood parquet flooring.
The total living space of the eight residential units is 1,385 m².
